Can you please do a video of just the jump height test with all your top bouncing shoes? You mentioned Jordan 36 as the bounciest shoe with 36cm avg jump height, but then lately all your shoes come in at 40cm+ easy - I guess you’ve been doing vert training. So, the fair thing to do is to take yourself out of the equation, and do a jump-off of all the contenders to decide which is really the bounciest.
@Vball-Vidz Жыл бұрын
Should be a yearly thing tbh

I used to play with the Jordan 36 before playing with the TRC Blaze Court. I've been doing vertical training since the release of Jordan 34. The propulsion on the J34 was amazing, but the J36 was way more bouncy. But there's just something about the TRC Blaze Court, it's just amazingly explosively bouncy 😎

Great review Zach!! 😄 Profoam+ midsole + pebax in the heel + minimal and supportive upper seems to be an absolute winning combo from Puma. Apart from the forefoot nonsense outsole design resulting in that sharkfin shaped rubber ripping off, and the middle part lacing where they use a stripe making laces slip, which I have to double lace there, I really love this shoe, really nice performer

Yeah puma love adding random design elements that take points away from the shoe like the string eyelets on the all-pro. That being said, I agree with you. These are good. Not all-pro level good but good. Profoam+ midsole + pebax in the heel+minimal and supportive upper seems to be an absolute winning combo. If they drop the All-Pro 2.0 and it hits, I reckon Puma will be the #2 basketball brand at that point.

Loved the review. I used these for volleyball and they're fantastic. Even though they sit a bit high, it was a good fit and the shoe responded to the violent random movements I did. Only thing to note is that there is a break in time for these shoes. I played 2 hours the other day and as soon as I changed to my normal shoes, felt some ache/minor pain in my left foot. After a few days, didn't have the ache.
@obi_hoan61182 жыл бұрын
Hey , do you think they are good for libero ? I might want to grab a pair, lightness and responsiveness are the two main things I love the most in a shoes
@jsoo2332 жыл бұрын
@@obi_hoan6118 my only concern is it sits a bit high, so guaranteed you're gonna lose some court feel. I still go back to my air zoom hyperattacks if I'm playing setter just because I prefer a better court feel/responsiveness but the puma trc blaze are indeed pretty light, bouncy, amazing grip on courts, feet/heel feel secure. If you were playing one of the wing positions, I'd say they work well! I usually wear these if I'm playing power or offside.
@obi_hoan61182 жыл бұрын
@@jsoo233 Thank for the answer !!! I like to attack for practice but I’m definitely a libero in game, at 5,6 / 166cm it seem obvious ! Being at the back row is what I prefer !!! In term of shoes I rather feel low to the ground and my shoes rotation is the freak 3 ( which feel too high of the ground for me and unstable) , the dame 4 wich is one of my favourite and the peak lightning 2019 … so the puma TRC got my attention since they seem all rounded , but I’m seeking the most responsive shoe… I might go with the converse BB shift since I need to feel very quick on my feet, I’m just concerned about the fit since I have wide feet
@jsoo2332 жыл бұрын
@@obi_hoan6118 oooo I loved playing in the dame 4 :) but mine wore out pretty bad hahah so been trying to find another shoe for court feel but also shock absorption when going up for a block. I was hoping the lebron 20 would be good, as the setup is the same as the hyperattack shoes...only issue is: I have wide feet as well (lebron 20 runs narrow) and they are bloody expensive. But im looking around for a shoe that has a zoom air in the fore foot as it's been an amazing setup when i want court feel. I think maybe you'd like some of the old Kyrie shoe series if you can get your hands on it. But I guess in the mean time, I just rotate between my hyperattack (setter), trc and lebron 16 (wing). Sometimes I wear my trc as a setter but... its because I'm kind of afraid of wearing out my hyperattacks!

These Pumas are actually the real deal. Like mentioned in the vid, the response is awesome. Even when just walking around, you can feel the plush, bounce back response from the foot bed. Not mushy though. Still keeps a solid, balanced feel. Plenty of room in the front toe box unlike the J. Cole Dreamers 1 were the toes feel sandwiched in the front tip of the shoe.

Puma came out of nowhere a couple years ago. I mean they've always been a brand that made good stuff, but they really felt like they left the market especially in the US for quite a while. Now they just show up with the nitro foam and they are KILLING IT. Even the lower tier shoes and the stability runners have huge amounts of bounce compared to the competition. Their soles "pumagrip" is incredible. I heard people rave and never paid attention because honestly most shoes are fine for 95% of conditions. Grip just isn't a concern... UNTIL IT IS. And the puma doesn't just grip, it sticks. Definitely have my eye on Puma now.
