I was a bit disappointed that the Dame 9 is an indoor shoe. I liked that Adidas was on a run on making their shoes good for indoor and outdoor play.

@@MangaSword8 As were the Harden Vol. 6 and to a lesser extent, the vol 7. The Harden has become an indoor shoe. The Dame Certified 3.0, which looks identical to the Dame 9, might fill the void. We'll have to wait for the review.

Yup… I have extply, play outdoor in them at least once a week for a few months now and the outsole wear is barely even noticeable… the heat trapping and weight are damn noticeable though 😅 I was hoping maybe the 9 would be lighter and airier but Zach confirmed what I suspected, still pretty hefty and heat retaining… which is a shame because the Dames are quite wide foot friendly

I’m having that issue with the outrigger lace eyelets that you’ve mentioned, but with the Harden 7’s. after like 10-15 times playing in them I’ve noticed that the attachment of one of the eyelets has ripped and is barely hanging on. hope it’ll last, because I really love that pair

Yeah there are honestly better ways to attach them and the rest of the harden and dame is so well built it’s surprising that thats the weak link

Curious to know how you measure the length and width, do you measure the inside or the whole shoe? Also how do you decide what shoe size to buy since some brands have different sizing, do you use their sizing charts or go with the same size for all your shoes? Surely there’s a shoe which fits too big or small to test. ❤

I have gone to an 11 universally just to stay consistent- in my real life if I buy a shoe sometimes I’ll get an 11.5 but for the channel to be able to evaluate fit and feel it’s best to keep it one size- I measure the inside- the outside measurements are meaningless

Hi, not the doc here but I do own the Vol 8’s. The Dame 9’s look like they’re closer to the ground. The shank looks pretty nice, reminds me of the crazy explosive 2017. Vol 8’s are probably a bit faster, looking at the speed ratio given and the boost pro in them. They do need te be broken in though, takes a while. No need for wiping once they’re warm. Decision probably depends on what you want out of the shoe, those dames seem pretty sweet

Three stripes reminds me of first adidas predator from 1994. I'm still disappointed they choose lightstrike over bounce pro. Wonder how traction would look on tartan, because most of adidas shoes seems to be durable on that surface. On the other side I'm not gonna lie I'm kinda jelaous of that hoop in your new studio 😄.
