I have lived in Colorado since the early 90's. One of the reasons he signed with the Knicks is because his wife's TV show was there. And wanted a big bag. The Nuggets were planning on rebuilding, because of all the assets they spent to put together two teams around melo. Furthest he got them was a western conference finals showing. He is the reason they built a team around two foreign players, so they would stick around long enough to win a championship in a small market city for basketball.
