Footprints of Birth Documentary Trailer

‘Footprints of Birth’ has a joint project team of obstetricians, midwives, medical students as well as Informational technology and coaching expertise from within Whittington Health NHS Trust. This team has produced a 30 minute documentary called ‘Footprints of Birth’ which has captured women’s experiences of maternity care on aspects that they would have been shy or hesitant to share previously. The idea of this project was to unveil aspects of care that are important to women which health care providers may not appreciate. Women were required to submit their stories as a self-recorded video via their mobile or electronic device. These very personal stories have been edited by an independent film company to produce the documentary. We have created a 75 minute workshop which consists of viewing the documentary (30 min) followed by facilitated small group work using coaching techniques (45 min).
