NO QUESTION TUHON MEL However, just an observation that the BASIC DIFFERENCE between BROKEN and FLUID FORWARD TRIANGLE FOOTWORK has nothing to do with the FACT - that you have VERY NICE HAIRCUT✌✌✌ KEEP IT UP😆😆😆

This is advanced to. I try to visualise how to place the different pary and strikes when I’ll work it out. It might be good the day you have a partner to make an option bis on this video to have a better understanding the timing of applying with counter attacks with doble Baston and Mano mano. Really hard this one. I see how to move leg and knees but do not it how to strike with elbows and hands. Thank you for the great content Tuhon Rommel.

Tuhon Mel, I don't understand why by just using the lower shield by the raising of the knee makes the footwork "fluid". In striking with the baston, for example, when the baston 'follows through', it's a fluid strike. I don't see the difference in the footwork, except for the shield. Thank you for posting this video.

By lifting your legs and you cover your centerline using parry in lowline, that's one reason why we do that because not all attacks are on top, any attacks coming from the top, midline or low line. At the same time lefting legs you prevent your leg not to get hit in case there will be a divert attacks Also you can switch anytime your footwork quickly and stable because your not committed your weight when you land your foot. The footwork that I showed there on the video only one footwork which forward triangle eventually you can start bridge to another footwork pattern when you feel better to do so your first footwork pattern.

Hi Mitchell, Did you see episode 1? The video before this. Lifting the knee to shield or parry doesn’t make it a fluid triangle. Basically, what makes it “fluid” is the use of the “broken line,” or the base of the triangle. The broken triangle, as you see, is only 2 sides of a triangle. Fluid is the use of the whole triangle. The knee shield/parry, is an example of what can be applied and one steps across the base, aka “broken line.” Does that make sense?

@@tuhonrommelmeltortal8099 Tuhon Mel, I understand about why you are shielding by raising the knee to protect against low line attacks. What I did not understand is what made the footwork "Fluid", as opposed to "Broken". Nomad Kali also responded to my question and gave me the answer. I apologize for not making my question more clear.
