Black lodge Two I agree but it’s different eras in my opinion. It’s like the golden age, 90’s, had a few stages, like two years each. Jeru, Gangstar.. Primo is illll. Rza is as well, but different in what feels like eras. Rza was way ahead of his time with the orchestra, yet razor thumpers like knock knock and Assasination day. I think Rza is more prolific. And he dealt with primarily just his crews lyricism. Prim on the other hand could put out slammers for any artist regardless 🔥

Black lodge I’m going with Prim on that alone. That’s a great question and I agree it’s them two. ✌️

The reason why you get nikki garbaage instead of this amazing sounding hip hop is because corporations run 95% of what the radio plays along with music videos. Viacom took over vh1, mtv and bet in between the mid and late 90's and they can ban artist if they want and when they want. So present day you get lollypop garbage rap that is not some shit you like but something that is truly imposed on you. btw there is a list of banned artist that are banned by bet that you find online. I say support real underground hip hop and boycott corporate rap along with corporate music video channels. fuck em
