they've built spaceships and tech to live on the moon and is impressed by Jame's cell phone.
@Z38_US8 ай бұрын
So I'm about a year late but this makes sense still. They did manage to build spaceships and live on the moon but they are still using 1940's tech to do that, which is shown by Richter pointing at the very large 40's computer. A modern phone has hundreds, if not thousands of times the computing power of that computer from the 40's and is not even 1% it's size which is extremely impressive for someone that doesn't know what that is. This is also why a single cellphone or tablet can power the entire Battleship but their current computers can't.
@tomasgibbs32358 ай бұрын
@@Z38_US why dont we have a ship which is powered by a phone?
@Z38_US8 ай бұрын
@@tomasgibbs3235 because modern airplanes and rockets and stuff don't run on 40's tech and already utilize the components that power phones aswell. Your phone is a lot stronger in terms of computing power compared to the computer onboard apollo 11 in the late 60's and could easily power it
@tomasgibbs32358 ай бұрын
@@Z38_US why dont we use older tech with newer power sources? (not questioning you just genuinely curious)
@Z38_US8 ай бұрын
@@tomasgibbs3235 Because using older tech but with newer power sources is unnecessary. If I can use my phone to power a brand new airplane built with 40's tech why not just built that airplane with modern tech and have it powered by similiar components instead? That also reduces risk of failure and give you overall a much better and smoother experience. It's also much more stable and probably less expensive.

In your book, wouldn't the defeated "white Russian" political organizations like Lokhot Autonomy, SS Sturmbrigade R.O.N.A. and the R.F.P. (Russian Fascist Party which uses a Russian version of the same diamond Swastika logo as the Reich but with two heads on the Russian eagle) have corporate mergers and acquisitions with the defeated German NSDAP, Quisling's defeated Norwegians, the defeated George Lincoln Rockwell book publishing organization in the USA and Metaxas' Greeks, and the defeated Mussolini Northern Italian organization to form a multi-ethnic type of European socialist organization that combines all of these different nationalist organizations together into something less explicitly pan-German and more multinational. Watching a lot of Star Trek reruns makes me think they would want to do genetic engineering to make smarter, stronger, healthier, more athletic and more territorially aggressive central european looking humans (which is a similar scifi story to what happened with Khan in Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek Eugenics wars and this was also what happened in the TV show Star Trek Enterprise when Brent Spiner played the role of Lieutenant Commander Data's ancestry Doctor Soong who was imprisoned by the Star Trek Federation for creating genetically enhanced humans). There is already a Star Trek "Eugenics Wars" novel that was written by an author named Greg Cox that you could read that is a similar idea except that in the Greg Cox "Eugenics Wars" book, it was Indian ultranationalist movements in India that genetically engineered an Indian superhuman in the form of Khan Noonien Singh ( reference the Paramount Pictures film called "Star Trek II : The Wrath of Khan" as well as the original Star Trek "Space Seed" episode ).

Iron Sky is a fucking comedy gem that should get more love. This movie had me dying of laughter 24/7. When they turn James' ass albino white I fucking hollered and laughed for a good 15 minutes bro and the scene that he on the streets of NYC as some crazy doomsday person had me dead. this movie is amazing and i need to watch the 2nd movie to this still.
@kompatybilijny93483 жыл бұрын
Yes, I also love this movie, but the second one is hot garbage. It has a cool premise, but they waste literally every single thing they set up. Like, a minor spoiler warning, there is an Apple (company that made Iphones) cult that is honestly somewhat hysterical at the introduction, but then they use and feature them for the entirety of the movie to deliver a joke that amounts to "nobody reads the terms of service". And that's it. That was the entire joke with around 25 miutes worth of screentime as setup.

2 things to ad. The nazis did actualy try to turn people into germans, well coloring eyes blue but blinding the person, was as far as they got. And these crazy people telling people on the streets that nazis went to the moon did exist. (That hitler escaped to the southpole was also a real theory under tinfoilhats) The genius of this movie is how it uses facts AND made up shit eqaly and just plays it out. Giving us the wonderfull conclusion of showing how utterly delussional these ambitions where, but also how dangerous. In hyper extra ways.

Now I need a prequel of the Allied naval forces under Sir Robert Byrd that collided with Nazi's in the Artics in 1946. Core education taught us the war was essentially over after the bombing in Japan, Never until after school would I actually learn how much the Third Reich was really involved in, occultism, ecosterics, and mysticism, fleeing to Argentina, and expeditions to the North Pole... Really asking the question, did the War ever end?

@@DefinitelyStephanie69 you must be referencing Operation: Paper Clip, Werner von Braun being one of the main Nazi's recruited into NASA by CIA (OSS) The CIA and intelligence community alone operates within confines typically outside of most legalities, meaning the President is only informed of their operations if it is impertinent to his Administration. They're not going to tell each president "Oh, this is a list of every black budget, compartmentalized access program, black flag operation, and coup we've committed in the last century" These secrets are kept by societies within governments, the revelation of events would not only mean the undoing of their organizations, but the very foundations of society.
