For a wolf pup, the comfiest bed is your big sister 🐺

Raising pups is a family affair; it is natural for all the wolves to pitch in.
The yearlings will assist their parents in rearing their younger siblings by regurgitating food for them, playing with them, and even babysitting. Moreover, the parents will demonstrate critical parenting strategies and techniques for the yearlings to employ when they have pups of their own.
Passing down knowledge from one generation to the next also allows the family to maintain traditions unique to that pack.
Beyond being adorable and cuddly, this Mexican gray wolf family represents the Wolf Conservation Center's active participation in the effort to save this species from the brink of extinction.
The WCC, a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY, is one of a network of facilities participating in the Mexican Wolf Species Survival Plan - a bi-national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of Mexican gray wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.

Kind of reminds me of good times when me and my big sister, always good friends despite the age difference, would either wake up early to watch TV or stay up as late as we could. Watching scary movies on VHS or watching the golden age of MTV and VH1. I would be the wolf pup and sis would have to put up with me!

My big sister sadly passed away in 2018 at only 31... We also loved horror movies on VHS, played Donkey Kong Country and Tony Hawk on PlayStation. MTV was also a big thing for us. I miss her every day. The weirdest thing about this is to realize that somehow i am older now than my older sister. It's hard. Hope you have many more years with your big sister.

As an the oldest of my parents' offspring , I can confirm this. My little sister used to do that sort of thing to me till I left for college and she hit 8 yes old. my male german shepherd did something similar with his puppy brother. The puppy was 5-6 weeks old at the time and he felt asleep next to Aik. So Aik looked at him and he slowly positioned himself in such a way as if he was embracing Lindt so the pup could be warm while he slept😊
