I think it’s that the album title of “for the dogs” doesn’t appear to fit the vibe - which is still emotional I think with it being called For the Dogs you would expect some hard raps … but it feels emotional and mature with jabs lol I loved it
@lordvader1660
@lordvader1660 Жыл бұрын
Well i kinda disagree…I think the album title is fitting for the content - My understanding of “dogs” is basically an album for the bad guys, playboys, assholes to women etc which is basically the entire content of the songs on the album. Him being a hoe and shitting on women he messed with
@misanthr0pic
@misanthr0pic Жыл бұрын
@@lordvader1660this is a theory. another theory someone came up with was for the “bitches” because he’s down talking women the whole time and it’s mostly a soft album. so for all the “bitches” that played him. mind you these are ALL theories. and i think he said that to make it make sense for him. food for thought tho

I'm pretty sure it was just his wording. The way he was speaking and the context of it all paints more of a "not everyone should pick a side" vibe to it. He also said right after that to "not plant a flag" which is basically the same thing. But to have an opinion is dangerous unless it is informed correctly as todays options of research, especially into the Palestinian/Israeli conflict, tend to bias. And because everyone is primed to have a knee jerk reaction in this specific topic, an opinion could lead someone to do something horrendous (ie. someone express something they read from a slightly bias source, and the person receiving it feels its bias to a side they may not favor and wants to seek "redemption" for the biasness against their beliefs). So unless you have very objective sources, It might be better to objectively speak on this topic unless you are very familiar with who you are conversing.

Dumbest sounding shit ever. Encouraging uninformed people to have firm opinions is how we bring about lowly tribal vibes Our opinion is that power hungry hustlers at the tippy top of the pyramid keep playin w us like we’re cattle or something…..manufacturing crisis after crisis after crisis and restructuring our world while making generational fortunes…..and all that fear in the air squashes our critical thinking and we stay dumb if not mentally shackled

I would just like to say as a podcast fan but my start comes from the hip hop multi verse lol I think that fans like me don’t comment enough we let everyone else dictate conversations. I love charla admitting the troll and the fact he knew drake was dope all along. Obviously you get attention going against the hot guy coming up. It feels like now everyone in that industry literally just takes the same route he created. Also the whole Andrew is bigger than charla thing … un involved people just won’t understand, be comfortable in the position you created and putting your homies on. He always wanted this for Andrew. He was the reason we all discovered Andrew and it’s inspirational if you pay attention.This podcast is still one of the best we all just wish they could give more like back in the day… soul … ja !! Look its simple, there are a few different groups of rap fans. This album was anticipated to be a drake rap album where he bars up beats and we didn't get it. Thats on us that dont love the album though I will admit. He called the album For all the Dogs. We thought that meant for us rap heads. Listening to how Cole snapped on the feature is what was expected from drake.

Wait y’all think Andrew was alt-right? 😂 I must’ve missed that chapter. You gotta admit it’s kinda boring that every podcaster has the same center-left views

niggas have literally built their career copying drakes influence and sound in music…for a while actually. Y’all didn’t give him his roses when he was down, and now that he been up so long they still wanna downplay his effect😂 ‘classics’ lmaoo 😭

@ChristopherWhitter you can rage as much as you want. I like 16 drake songs on Spotify and 196 Ye songs. No one copied drake, drake has shifted to different sounds through ghost writers and reference tracks to emulate people. He emulated Joe's moody rap, he shaped his sound from Ye's 808s and heartbreak (the most revolutionary album for modern emo rap and this was the creation of the dark trap sounds and the heavy jump into 808s along with shaping people like Lil Uzi amongst others). You know nothing about rap besides commercial Taylor swift ish

@@daddycrimson what classic album does he have. Which album is regarded as a hip hop classic on the same level as graduation, late registration, 808s and heartbreak, or my beautiful dark twisted fantasy.

@ChristopherWhitter copying drake is copying Ye/The Weeknd. Ye created the sound, drake stole it like he stole Big Sean's flow on Forever, or XXXTentacion (RIP) entire song Look at Me Now's flow, or what about the reference tracks that have cone out? Or how take care was almost entirely written by the weeknd? You don't know anything about Drake but you squeeze his balls and drain him down your throat like gatorade
