Thanks so much for sharing the video! I am wondering if japanese potters also use boron in their glazes? It seems many potters fire at cone 6 or general midfire in oxidation but I don't fully understand how glazes melt at this temperature without the help of boron or zinc. Is there something I am missing ? ;) Thanks again for sharing all this!

Thank you for your comment. I don't use boron so I don't know. There is an image of slowing down neutrons in a nuclear reactor. In fact, it may be used in various materials! The materials used for pottery are very different in each country!

Thank you for your comment. The simplest recipe for glossy glaze is the one in this video. In addition, you can make a flowing transparent glaze by mixing feldspar and ash.

着色についての動画ありがとうございます！ 参考にしたいと思います。 質問なのですが、釉のテストする時は100gでするのがベストなのでしょうか？ 小さなテストピースでテストしたいので20gずつしようと思ってるのですが少ないと誤差が出やすいのでしょうか？(0.01gまでの量りを持っています)

コメントありがとうございます。 釉薬のテスト量は少なくても良いですが、釉薬に浸して施釉できる量が望ましいと思います。 筆塗りだとムラが多く、再現が出来にくいと思います。 動画では分かりやすくもなるので100gでやっています。

釉薬を電動のスプレーで吹き付けたいのですが、濃度とかどうすればいいかご教授くださいませんでしょうか。

コメントありがとうございます。 コンプレッサーと吹きつけ用のガンが必要ですね！ 濃度は吹き付ける時間で決まりますので厚くかけ過ぎないように注意が必要です。経験と勘がものを言う施釉ですね！
