omg. firstly - i hate you bc i have enough shows to watch and now i wanna rewatch gossip girl bc i miss my babies. I don't know how you managed to make a 6 minute serenate video tbh because the amount of scenes we got of them in 6 seasons was appalling - given the chemistry and relationship of these two. For me, they were the most beautiful part of the show. Nate would quite simply do anything for her. He loved her, pure and simple.

***** GAAH serenate analysis, I could live for these moments. lol no seriously. the show failed in telling their story the way it should be told. in one of the early interviews chace said something like "serena represents nate's freedom"; she made no excuses for being who she was and he was desperate to reach that, to be himself as well. he fell in love with her freedom and her sunshine. people say that everybody loved serena pre-series and yes, they might as well, but nate knew all the details and bad parts and he still loved her. above everyone. above everything. like loving her was loving himself. i just can't, otp feels. even though the writers did suck at everything, i also kinda like how they didn't have to tell us anything; we just knew that they had this amazing incredible connection. that he would always be in love with her and sacrifice anything, but he was never ever selfish about it. he didn't hold that against her, not even when he was hurt. he respected her above everything. i know it seems impossible to milk 6 minutes of serenate because they didn't have so many scenes but this song, it just goes with the flow you know? it's like nate wrote it. she would never forgive him if it was the other way. she would never forgive him if he left her the morning after the sheppard wedding. but he did. talk about selfless ridiculous in love knight in shining armor. thank you so much for your comments

Wow shit that was really intense! The writers messed up with this show so bad, they should've made Dan/Blair and Nate/Serena endgame. And this video shows how perfect Nate and Serena were together.
