I have the version with the dark blue dial and light blue subdial. The main dial looks black in some light and dark blue in other. I had the WatchBloke just completely overhaul it (thanks for the referral). Awesome watch. Great video as always, thank you.

I have one of these in great condition with the "brick-ish red" chrono. One of the quirks I found was the push crown day/date adjust. Too, didn't come with the original bracelet.

I have my father's from 1972, with the bracelet, which makes the watch. Know that the bracelet is irreplaceable and I would find a custom jeweler to fix the broken one, or at least offer it up for parts.

Love mine it's a unique watch and fun to wear. The bracelet is a must though for one of these, just not the same without it.

Fantastic watch, excellent watch; beat the shit out of mine years ago cause I always wore it doing everything. Fit an o-ring in it with the movement spring to make it water resistant even or at least to help the spring not corrode. I need to get a bracelet for it cause it's on a flat-link for years now, still very nice. I love the Strapcode Rollball iteration of the racing bracelet, www.strapcode.com/collections/replacement-band-for-seiko-new-turtle/products/metal-ss-bcl20-b089, so much that it is my favorite band to wear on my SRP777.
