i'm crying i'm not even kidding OKAY so first, ghost connor!! i love that idea and i'd love to see what else you could do with that concept. i haven't seen anyone else take that approach. then connor's face when evan's singing "girls we wish would notice us but never do" is where the tears started thanks (but also like, seriously thanks for that). not to mention all the almost hand-holding (!) and the CLOUD GAZING. connor flipping off the sky is so like him but also, the scars on his wrist :(( that's another thing i haven't seen people do, but i think it adds a lot to your depiction of him. the ENDING. do i need to say anything else (i'm sorry for such a long comment i'm just ahh !! about this)

EXACTLY! THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! I felt as if he was already starting to feel as if he could finally have someone to listen to him and finally have a friend or heck even someone to love him. I also had this side headcanon that Connor always knew who Evan was and probably had a secret crush on him, and we all know that Connor is practically terrible with feelings, which explains why he got aggressive when he actually first interacted with Evan, and pushed him. Connor seems to have that mean guy, never apologises kind of attitude, yet he still finds Evan and this time, actually had a (short) conversation with him and signed his cast (In big letters too, way to show everyone who's yours!). He probably felt as if it was the end for him if his crush actually liked his sister. Which, also fueled Connor's depression and bad thoughts of how everyone loved his sister more than him. Which led to the end that we refuse to believe happened. (I just can't accept it, it hurts-). But yea! Cool theory!

Every time I listen to this damn song I get caught up in the lie that I forget those two boys didn't really know each other and they both had suicidal thoughts.
