@Im Laughinq Til Orrustu! = To Battle (according to the for honor wiki, i dont speak this language) Fjallabrjótur! = Mountain Breaker, i guessed voice line since "Fjalla" is very close to the swedish word "Fjäll" which is a barren mountain range or moor-covered hills while "Brjótur" is close to the swedish word "Brytare" which means breaker/switch(like a light switch) depending on the context shaman has a voice line i never even needed a translation for "Éttu Skít" which means means "Eat shit" now i hope i am correct in these since i do not speak icelandic(i think thats the vikings language in for honor)

Same argument could be made for Warmonger, who has almost every type of move in the game (dodge bash, dodge attacks, neutral unblockables, undodgables, etc). But you don't see everyone using her. Most people just play the hero they have the most fun with, and if they have fun with Olden Cross then more power to them

SUPER DUPER HYPED for this character!!! Really loved the lore for this hero being Holden Cross and the fact that he went to all different cultures and became this heroic, protector, vanguard. Even going as far as to giving him the same animations as other hero’s and the same languages showing his devotion to learning how to fight and communicate. Without a doubt the most well rounded. He has perfect flow, great chains, good health and great team fight ability. It’s a shame that we still have characters like orochi and shinobi who are one trick ponies. Orochi isn’t even good at his one trick now that all light attacks are the same. Making all light attacks the same speed was really dumb because it gives every character with a 3 light chain the ability to light spam just as good as the rest.

I think they pulled off the "combining different styles" gimmick much better this time around. Having him use the lines of other characters is a much appreciated change from Astrea. I'm still pretty upset about the evident budget cuts, especially with some of the animations looking way off, but admittedly it is less noticeable IMO because the bardiche is much more versatile, allowing a larger pool of different animation sets to be applied. I sincerely hope that going forward, we can return to getting characters with wildly different weapons and looks, as to me that was the main selling point of the game.

So from what I've gathered, lore wise the reasoning for using moves other characters use and saying lines other characters say, is because he was taken in by a group that has warriors from all different factions? At least i could use that as head canon if it's not the case
