I notice a cool thing when I was watch you fight, first I love how much you poke the instead of going for conventional punishes/combos, Almost like a nobushi would do, and before you say anything I know that you didn’t ask for any tips or advice but though I have to say that there probably some habits you could try to fix for your specific “play-style”, I think it’s obvious that (like myself) love the dodge heby, it’s insanely satisfying to hit, and it leaves to many options (heavy/kicks/lights) but I want to touch up on stuff I’m curious if you knew or not like you can double tap lights on both left and right, and when you get a parried light, the best course of action is to do a forward heavy, but you should not always do neutral dodge attack as you would be counter easily from more experience players that could react to them, and gryphon is very odd in terms of how you can play, but what I commonly do is pressure them like crazy with my lights (light light heavy feint into another light light) or you could even do forward lights to pressure more (but be careful not to spam, if they’re smart enough they’ll wait for it, what gryphon suck at is characters who have safer options then him, as he’s some of the few characters that doesn’t have an unblockable heavy which is common nowadays with most other characters, meaning if you don’t get you first lights or heavy in first before you could activate your hyper-armored heavy then you would lose most trades (so that’s why double light into heavy is gryphon safest move you could when trading or trying to finesse the other players) what he excels the most at is pressuring the living hell out of people but remember to utilize his pressure tools a lot, even if people are reacting quickly, you should know that’s why it happens (because you’re pressuring them!!!), they make mistakes, and you need to abuse it all the time, even when you kick, always confirm it with the follow-up heavy because either they make a move or you keep being aggressive full throttle at them, forcing any mistakes like a mishap dodge attack, a random light, or even running away (via by rolling then you could just use your forward heavy to chase) but at the end of the day it’s up to you how you want things to play, but remember three things that I think Gryphon players should always look out 1. Chains and combos are repetitive. If they figure you out before the match is over, then it’s really hard to recover afterward 2. Don’t always rely on a certain move (this should be obvious, but some characters do have moves that they need to rely on). Gryphon is the case of “how long until they react and punish me for it”. Always switch up your combos, be aggressive, stare at them, etc., don’t let them figure you out 3. Have fun! Gryphon is a simple character, monke brain even, but it does get boring, so experimenting with different unconventional combos like what you’re doing with Gryphon is my main and my adore character, for honor, so I hope you find some of these to be helpful in your endeavors.

Hi, good to see u r enjoying for honor. I noticed u don't use the kick correctly. Remember after the kick you will get a free heavy. 8:44

"Yes, I’m aware. I’ve just started playing the character and sometimes they respond quickly, especially when you make heavy hits. Instead, I prefer to play more calmly. Thank you for your comment; I’m continuing to develop my skills with the character :)
