Quick question. Around 3:40 you throw a heavy and get some kind of deflect from it? Im not sure if its superior block or whatever but I've gotten randomly myself sometime but don't know what it is.

So that's his superior block heavy attack. Basically conq has superior block during heavy attack start up. So with light parry timing you can get a heavy attack on a heavy, and you can parry a light. So if someone thows a light or heavy, you can just parry it at light parry timing to get a superior block heavy attack if it was a heavy.

Rep 38 Conq here. First time comment, long time sub. I have a question. If you could change one thing about the conqueror's current kit, what would it be? Longer window on superior block heavy startup? Less/no stamina drain on fullblock? Considering that you have such an intimate relationship with his behaviour, I'd like to hear your insight. Personally, I can't find many flaws with his moveset. As simple as he is, he's kind of the perfect hero. That's why I keep coming back to him. He truly is made of solid conqrete (no joke).

Hey man! So personally I wish he still had his light attack feint with FB and his soft feint GB. Those required a lot of skill to pull off and added to his kit. I wish flail uppercut did not take so much stamina as well. I would not mind a nerf to the delay time of his light shield bash in exchange for hyperarmour on his charged heavy or chained heavy attacks. Additionally I would like them to increase the speed of his medium shield bash in exchange for short duration of light sb delay.

@@atlasfishmo Hyperarmor on chained heavies....dare to dream, right? It's ridiculous that the highlander is classified as a hybrid, by comparison. Also, you may have broken this down in a past video, but what is the strength rating system of shield bash? So one is from heavy feint, one is from dodge, one is from superior block dodge into sb, and the other is from his sprint? I agree on the stam drain from uppercut, too. When you have to decide who to punish in a gank, it doesn't help that you're losing stam rapidly from your own attacks as much as from external forces. Thanks, man. I appreciate the response.

I use last stand, vengeful barrier and remedy. I used to use bastions instead of remedy but I realized it does not stack with last stand.

I’ve recently been compelled to play Conq(bored of Kensei and Zerk) and have him at Rep 3, I love his kit and the hero in general, in 1v1 he’s a BEAST But ganks is what I struggle at, but I am getting better and even got a complement of some random opponent in breach lol Opponent tend to just take turns one bashing me the other confirming damage and when I get revenge they just back off and continue whaling on me once it’s gone What I love most about Conq is his all block to flail uppercut, saves me the trouble of having to read dodge attack using heroes and have to parry them, Conq shuts down offence sooo well Aspiring Conqs really should be told he’s fucking hard to use well as he’s methodical as fuck And that until you learn to use him you’re going to have a badddd timeeeee But once you have, very few heroes can trouble you, a skilled conq demolishes even high rep Raiders and Hitokiris

Shield uppercut and feint into fullblock. Its not difficult if you know how to adapt and learn. If you cant learn you will continue to get parried.
