​@@Mulisious it actually used to be my favorite match up as a nobu and soon to be highlander player. I remember my favorite content creator Oma Gosh did a video where he was fighting an incredible Nobu player and it was like watching a dance. Now with Nobu's undodgeables it doesn't feel fun now and it feels cheap to me. Sure Nobu is better but I miss how unique she felt.

yo muli I feel like my kick is constantly being dodged but if I do kick to grab they dodge that too on the same timing should I start throwing raw gbs or something ? I feel like I do better w hl against better opponents than worse ones

Yeah his kick and kick to grab are pretty much useless unless you’re doing some serious conditioning prior to throwing it out like that first shinobi game. Offensive stance heavy mixups are seeming like the wave right now.

Something I find catches people off guard is forward heavying and holding it into offensive then booting them. They always go for the parry, n if they dodge attack just cancel it

Do ya think it’s good for the game to have matchups in another characters favor? Like I’ll usually expect a Highlander to lose to a shinobi unless his reactions are great? I guess whoever playing the weaker character just has to naturally try harder.
