For the guys talking about the Wu Lin, keep in mind the Outlander season will be having a Wu Lin hero skin. And since these skins usually have lore ties to the hero of that season, it probably means the Outlander will be connected to the Wu Lin in some way. My money would be on the hero being a Mongol, especially with the “villain” note.

It was more a dark joke that Ubisoft will more likely gut content originally intended for the Wu Lin to further screw them over. Plus, samurai historically loved guns. Also sort of a parody of 'for his neutral special, he uses a gun' meme.

I'm calling it now. The new outlander will be Mongolian. they mentioned the new heroes having a villainous story. And Mongolians were pretty gosh darn ruthless! And Y8S4 hero skin will be wu lin so that's another hint as well, Most of the Wu Lin cast ethnicities were mostly mandarin and wanted no affiliation with Mongolians. So it makes sense that sure we may not see an all around "Wu Lin" theme, but they may just still involve a Chinese theme in that season anyway.

As much as I’d like to see a Spartan hero, I think there’s a few like Gladiator and (especially) Centurion who fulfill a very similar fantasy. What I would like to see, maybe as the outlander pick, is some kind of a fencer, where they maybe use a rapier.
