Keep learning and understanding God's word, which will create a stronger connection with Him. Use your faith in Him as your shield. This means that whenever you are challenged, let your faith in Him shield you. Steady the mind, for it is through the mind that our faith is often weakened. This is the living word; it is true and simple. Just have faith that Jesus will guide you. Believe it with all your heart, no matter how difficult your circumstances may seem.
