I've always loved this song, but it hits so much harder now that I'm in a long distance relationship with my fiance. Military life is not easy. It's so hard to do, but all you can do is it give it to God and pray that they stay safe. There will be good days and bad days, but you'll get through it. Prayer is powerful.

Hold on to love and to God. My parents' marriage outlasted Dad's 28 year USN career with a literal total of 13 years of it spent at sea. This month they celebrate their 60th anniversary. I remember Mom's manner and voice in the 1970s on radio-telephone calls in the middle of the night from Dad couldn't say where. I remember the household power dynamic between Mom & Dad changing during the week or two before and after deployments. As Dad became more senior I remember Mom mentoring the younger wives. Somehow Dad managed to at least be in port on the major holidays though a number of times he had the duty and we went to the ship to have holiday dinner with him. In contrast to that, he was halfway around the planet at the times I and my brother were born, so Mom had to do that somewhat alone but with relatives who came to help for a bit. Navy marriage indeed can be hard: it also can be done! :)

This is such a beautiful song ❤️ Thank you guys. I need to hear this tonight. Sometimes I feel so lonely in my spiritual walk since my husband is an unbeliever. We have been married for 24 years. I gave my life to Jesus 13 years ago and I have been praying for my husband salvation since then and still waiting. But during this time I have grown into a deeper revelation of who Jesus is for me, I realize that he is the lover of my soul and that I am not alone. Though it is still hard sometimes, I have used this alone time to lean on Jesus even more and this has become a blessing in disguise, because the presence of the Lord in my life have gotten even stronger as he keeps revealing himself, my purpose and the plans he has for me. Though it has taking a lot of patience from the Lord he is still so faithful to me. God works all things for good for those that love him. Jesus is all lovely and beautiful. And I just want to give a shout out to all those men that love the Lord and are leading their family in the walk with God. Keep doing your amazing work ❣️ You are bringing so much honor and glory to Abba God, our Heavenly Father.

Thank you so much for releasing a video for this song. I don't know if you recall at a meet and greet before the pandemic hit, I told the two of you how we played this song at my mother's funeral after she lost her battle with Ovarian Cancer. It was beautiful, and perfect. Ironically the album was released just two weeks before her passing, so the timing was perfect, but as we know, things happen in God's timing. I can imagine these would be the words that my precious husband would pray after he unexpectedly went to Heaven but by Gods grace and mercy He has no idea how long and hard the nights are… after 48 years of marriage.
