My mom passed away three years ago. I had a dream today about her and she was telling someone how she will always protect her kids. Then I woke up to a notification to this song. I guess she was checking in with me 😭. Thanks For King & Country 🙏🏾

Great message. Very country. Surprised FOR KING AND COUNTRY did not sing more but I'm not sure their vocals would have the same effect as Lee Brice's. A very special song for me, my mom passed 6 years ago and she and I would check in daily. I'd love to hear her, " It's just your mom checking up on you." Once more.❤❤❤

The tears are in my eyes with this haunting song. Wish so much to be able to ring my mum up and talk to her. She raised all 5 of us by herself in a new country( Australia) with no family or friends to help her when our father took his life. She is resting now after all her hard work with Our Heavenly Fathe🙏

I knew that I shouldn't have listened to this, haha. In 20 days, it will be my son's birthdate and in 2 months, it will be 1-year since I lost him in a tragic accident. He would have turned 26 this month. He was so strong, tall, and handsome, and a real sweetheart. He had the most brilliant, intelligent mind of any kid I ever knew. He worked so hard, and was doing extremely well at a great job. He always stood out, in every way and always did for others. He had been taking care of me, since he was 18, after we had to flee from his dad, my husband, years ago. My son knew [knows] Jesus Christ as his Savior & Lord, as do I, so I know where he is, and that I'll see him again in God's awesome, eternal kingdom, not too long from now, as the imminent Ralture event approaches.

I have a hard time listening to this some days, but other days it’s therapeutic for me to get a good cry out. First time I heard it, it was a God wink moment for me because My Grandfather and I listened to Lee Brice a lot together. He would have loved for king and country too. He took his life a few years ago and it still feels like yesterday. I also resignate with this song in a different way, about my own Dad (My Grandfathers son.) We have always had a complicated relationship and unfortunately there is no relationship anymore. It hits me hard some days for My Grandfather, because he chose to leave one way and My Dad also chose to leave, but continues to make that choice everyday that he doesn’t “check in.” My six year old son and three year old son can’t remember him and that’s what stings the most. I pray for everyone who has commented on this video because of the pain you are suffering, but know that God will see you through. He will also be the only one to fill those voids so cling to Him in all ways. Can’t wait to see the movie ❤

"Tis better to have loved and lost, Than never to have loved at all." (Alfred Tennyson) If you can relate with that song, your Dad (or other loved ones) left you something a lot more valuable than any material wealth on Earth. I like that song.

Every time I listen to your songs it just a different feeling. It's like I see parts of my life getting played on a big screen while you guys sing. Everyone, check in on your loved ones while you still have them around. Just remember that even the smallest detail for you can be priceless for them. Hug them, kiss them, make them laugh and show them how much you love them. Take care and thank you for KING and COUNTRY for the emotional art you create! Live long and be happy!
