I tried my way. I was raised Christian hut I’ve spent so many years running from God. So many years, so much time, so much money on ungodly things that felt good in the moment but never brought lasting joy or meaning to my life. I’m done running. Everyone has a God shaped whole in their heart and we all try to fill it with stuff of this world. Worldly things such as pleasure but it’s never enough. Only God can fill that hole. I already love Luke and Joel’s music, but this is my favorite, the lyrics and tune, they both just fit so well. On a Friday, a radio station had The Proof Of Your Love on, and I just recognized it well. I just… this song is 10 years old, and yet, it’s still one of the best Christian songs in the world. The music video makes it better. I’ve been repeatedly listening to this for the past 5 months, and it’s just so good how the Lord makes ways, and uses lots of people out there to be an inspiration to you. This was really an inspiration to me, and so are all the other songs. It just makes me so happy. God used Luke and Joel as an inspiration to not just me, but maybe hundreds of people out there; but after listening to this song, I know that despite of any actions, love is always key. Luke and Joel should be proud of this. I’m thankful that God brought me to this song, and that it is truly a message to people around the world that probably don’t even know about God. So, in other words, thank you Luke and Joel, you’ve been helping so many people around the world, and you should really be proud that God is using you in a awesome way. You know, im 14 and Im a freshman, before 2nd period we have a prayer group, we get weird looks and get laughed at but you know it doesn't matter, it made smile!! There is so many kids at school that makes fun of God and me and I know it's not true so I let it go and stick up for myself then I pray for that kid later, I want to make a change in the world but im 14 I can wait and follow God and he wants me to help people!! We use to have prayer groups at school. They actually grew pretty big. That was a lil over 10 yrs ago I know things have changed so much since then but history always repeats its self and eventually people will turn back to God just keep doing what you guys are doing one day they will come to the truth. +Lydia Bradley You don't have to wait until you're an adult to change the world. The darkest time of my life was high school, rivaled by the years of PTSD that followed. The best thing you can do at your age is take full advantage of it to reach other teens and I don't just mean reach them with the message of sin and grace. I mean you can take this time to be there for others by speaking up for other students when they're being disrespected. You can show an example for others by refusing to tolerate it while still responding firmly and kindly. You can show an example by respecting your teachers, even when you have this one teacher that really makes you question your resolve. You can take the moments in passing in the halls or at lunch to say something kind to someone who seems sad or to talk to someone who seems angry. I'm 31 now and the best memories I have of high school are of students who took the time to stand up for me and to be kind, without inviting me to their churches or blasting out how much God loves me. Believe me--I knew God loved me. There were times when He was the only one I really thought I could count on. What I needed to know was that I could also count on other people. I was harassed and sexually harassed all through high school and, most of the time, the adults and students around me did nothing and even criticized/blamed me, whether for how I responded or for what I "should have" done. You can change the world by being that person who dares to be different by mirroring Christ in your words and actions--at school, in public, at home, and online. My grandma died when i was 7 my best friend died and my aunt died from cancer. Shortly after the deaths my friends got in a fight i couldn't stop it.I became depressed..I had suicidal thoughts saying i should just die and I'm not worth anything and that I'm a waste of space.I started cutting at the age of 10...But my friends stop fighting they became friends again i stopped cutting after i saw a bible on the shelf .When i was scrolling through the front page of KZbin i saw this.
