My family is badly broken. Your story is somewhat like ours only you have a happy ending. We lost our son in a car accident in 2009. He was our pride and joy. It crushed us but we never stopped believing. Our daughter has bad mental problems and uses drugs. She’s 44 and has 10 children. Some from different fathers. There are 8 at home and are very young; 1-11 Years old. We dont see them. The abuse is bad. CPS wont do anything. I’ve been praying about it for 30 years but things seem to get worse. Your story made we weep; partly because I see how God blessed and uses your story to spread His word. The other part of me weeps because of our own brokenness. Now in our 70’s we are alone with no family to enjoy. The only thing I have to look forward to is Heaven. I still believe but have no dreams this side of heaven. They’re dead. My little sister, started to learn about Jesus before she could even walk. When she was 3 years old she took Jesus in as her savior and she has the most beautiful and precious heart. She was baptized in January. She went to her first concert this year, she went to for king and country for her tenth birthday in Alaska! Best time of her life! I love to listen to their music. God sure has blessed them with so much talent. I just finished cancer treatment this August and so far I am cancer free. Their music helps calm me when I feel anxious. The type of cancer I had has only a 17% survival rate. So I still have no idea if the cancer will come back or not. God is in control of that. Meanwhile I listen to For King and country.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this band, in Boise. The lead singer went through serious illness, and wasn’t sure he’d pull through. I can completely relate! I had a rare form of Lupus, requiring years of chemo. Then, when my body was about to give out, I suffered a stroke & heart attack, along with pneumonia-all at once. I died on the way to the hospital. Doctors didn’t expect me to walk out of the hospital. But, God wasn’t done with me, yet. Not only did I survive, my Lupus went into remission, I went through rehabilitation & found my way back to the Lord. It was music that encouraged me & made me feel alive! For King & Country have inspired me to live for Him. Now, I’m better than I’ve been in over 15 years, found my way back to church, and recently joined the Bell Choir. If you had told me this was possible, just a few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it. But, with God, All Things are Possible! Now I get to see this inspirational band, in person! I’m so blessed!🙌✝️

I suffer from agoraphobia and social anxiety phobia. I have believed in God most of my life.
