OMG! My teacher does the same thing. No class examples and it's so hard to learn when you can't see it right away. I think my teacher is afraid that if a code doesn't work he doesn't have the confidence to correct it.

These days, while need a professor to teach. All computer science is on youtube by young tutors that teaches with porofond ability to receive the knowledge. University prof are only there to get your money. They don't care. 4 yrs of computer science that you. An learn in less than a year.

Just a tip for anyone who can't figure out why their for loops aren't working despite looking exactly how they should (cause this happened to me numerous times), a for loop MUST be in a method. The reason why his works in the video is because it is in the main() method. If you create a new class without any methods or constructors, your compiler will keep giving you a frustrating error... it wont work in just a class body. Took me hours to figure out why.

1:48 Me - a person who absolutely detests coding and programming, but has to succeed at exams - would definitely copy/paste all the code that many times to reach the goal because that's how stubborn I am, wanting to disprove teachers haha. But I know that, in the long run, that won't be the easiest way to do it. So thanks for the video! It was useful.

Since you've helped me here's a bit for your future viewers via a Google search; On average, becoming a confident Java programmer takes about 1-2 years, considering you spend 2-3 hours per day practicing coding. Familiarising yourself with the language to the point where you can edit someone else's code or write basic apps can take as little as four months.
