Gorgeous decks. Love these walk-throughs. I have one card from an original Dellarocca / Gumppenberg Soprafino c.1835. The card back has F.G. MIL. on the bottom for Ferdinando Gumppennerg Milan.

I love historical decks. My favorites are Mitelli I Tarocchini (Dal Negro), Tarot of the master/Tarocchi del Maestro (Lo Scarabeo), Golden Tarot of the Renaissance/Entensi Tarot (Lo Scarabeo) and Visconti Tarot (Lo Scarabeo). I am still looking for the beautiful Tarot Minchiate Etruria (Anima Antiqua). Would love to see Lo Scarabeo print this deck again. I have The Classic Tarot (Lo Scarebeo) it looks the same as yours Soprafino deck on the right (Il Meneghello). The colours are a little bit stronger on The Classic Tarot but the linework and the pictures are the same.// Love and light from Sweden🙏✨💖

I am also a Sopraffino fan. Have you seen the Tarocco Sopraffino: Anima Antiqua, by Lo Scarabeo (available on Amazon)? I’m wondering how that version stacks up to the other 2.

@the truth in story. I held it up to the Ill Menenghello (sp?) in your video, and it was spot on! If your IM is sharp, delicate, expensive, whatever...and you want almost an exact, MM/workhorse reproduction with good cardstock, flexible lamination in order to spare that one, get the LS Anima Antiqua reproduction! They are limited but still available - $32.95 on Amazon. You can see walkthroughs on YT. LS did a good job. 💕

@toadstool tarot I think it’s beautiful, and was so surprised to see what a great color match it (the LS Anima Antiqua) was to the IM. I don’t think I would need or want to purchase the IM. I’m quite happy with the LS. I know I’m in the minority, but I think the Sopraffino is so gorgeous and so much more pleasing to my eyes than the traditional wood-block Marseilles. I think KF thinks so too, so I’m in good company. 😉
