I really like how they treat this as an entirely new episode without once ever bringing up the past two episodes. Even their post analysis, they never once spring up “Goku would always have limits while Superman’s maximum potential is limitless” as an argument. It’s all based on their feats.

@@ssjgotenks2009 I mean there’s billions of trillions of other suns in the DC Multiverse he could just fly to and he wouldn’t even need to use all those suns to kill Goku anyway so that’s a moot point.

There's one thing about the fight that really grabbed my attention. Wasn't the ending (though that was good, too) or anything like that. What I really liked was the quiet reference to Superman's "world of cardboard" speech. Understated, but no less beautiful.

@@leonmcnair4615 If it is, I wouldn't know, since I've never read anything from DC Comics. I first heard it in the final episode of Justice League Unlimited, the one where Superman goes to town on Darkseid right after.

Goku's voice actor is Michael Kovach, a rising star in the VA community for a couple years now, very talented. He's best known for playing Angel Dust from Hazbin Hotel, N from Murder Drones and Jax from The Amazing Digital Circus.

@@vick7868 To compensate early releases getting its plug pulled, they’re now doing pre and post show q&As for membership owners. One of the questions asked about the animation for Galactus VS Unicron, to which they responded, “You already saw it”, something they confirmed on the official Discord server too

@jackofalltrades4753 Gotcha gotcha. So the early releases are now scrapped for good? That sucks. Still tho, I'm glad we got this information! If that's seriously the level of animation we're getting... oh my god. This has the opportunity to be the hardest episode they ever have done or will do. I thought it was some high budget cartoon or movie when I saw it, when I learned about this my hype spiked like nothing else has made it before. I can't tell you how excited I am for the episode and how proud I am that the show that's followed me into adulthood and let me meet the people I have has hit such glorious peaks.

Season 10 has been just amazing with every episode. Even if you personally felt let down by Killua VS Misaka, that one's actually my favorite of the season, because for fans of the characters, it gets them better than any other fan blog or written VS Debate does. Seeing someone finally acknowledge that Misaka wins most of her fights through smarts and not power (and showing that in the fight) was a big deal for those of us who read the novels as they were coming out, and having an episode that introduced Killua to a lot of people that actually understands his character is a wave of relief when compared to so many of the HxH reviewers/channels. How obvious the winner was has never been a big deal for me, but celebrating characters is, and that episode gets it better than both fanbases usually do. Just a tiny essay to tell ya that every episode this season has had something big going for it, and even your least favorite is someone else's absolute favorite. :)

Felicia vs taokaka was my first death battle.I was like twelve or thirteen at the time, take a wild guess why that one stood out to me, so yeah goombsh vs koopa is fine 😅

I kept hoping for Galactus vs. Unicron for the finale, if for the fact I couldn't wrack my brain for any other matchup that would be bigger than Goku vs. Superman. Needless to say, I SCREAMED when it was finally announced. Time to ride or die for Unicron!

Subscribed. I'm glad to see a true, realistic, knowledgeable and understanding fan. Goku enjoys fighting as to where Superman sees it as a means to an end but Superman would be more than happy to oblige Goku because he deserves the honor. Goku loves fighting anyone who is much stronger than him because it would make him stronger. Lets consider Goku's feelings here for a moment and understand that he couldn't and would not enjoy fighting Superman if Superman wasn't strong enough and to put some respect on both characters personality I think they are more likely be friends than enemies. I'm baffled by all the hate coming from the so called DBZ fans(sorry to say but true do to the crying), you think they would understand Goku's character. This is not to say I don't understand how they feel but to announce the hateful comments, being bummed out is one thing but the uncalled for hate is just childish. I've been a fan of both heroes just over 3 decades now and know enough to agree with the outcome of this. I wonder how Goku would feel about his fans absurd personal feelings? I think he would rather hang out with Superman lol

The fans that complain are the same ones who say Goku vs. Luffy would end with Goku using Instant Transmission to drown Luffy. Once they finished their friendly match, they would probably end it with an eating contest with Sanji and Chi Chi probably commenting on how they've never met someone who can eat as much as the other.

What a good season of death battle. Might be my favorite honestly! (Even if none of my absolute favortie characters were in this season 😂) cant wait for the finale!

Superman has Goku beat in every possible area, except maybe skill. Even then, Superman has way more experience and more impressive feats overall. We saw Goku get knocked out by a chop to the neck, which can never happen to Superman. Also, the thing that Goku fans conveniently forget is, Goku needed help to attain most of his victories, he needed a team, and the whole world during the Kid Buu saga. Superman has been and always will be as strong as he needs to be. Goku doesn't have anything powerful enough to defeat Superman. If you know about Superman, from actually reading his comics, you know how hacked his character is. Now, Superman has been defeated before in his own universe...many times, but it's always circumstantial and the character is holding back immensely. Take a look at Goku vs Jiren, even in that situation Goku needed Vegeta's energy in order to keep fighting. To top that off Goku never defeated Beerus, who wasn't even using his full power. While i like both characters, Superman is just too much for someone like Goku. Anything Goku can do for the most part Superman can do it a million times more, on top of strength that has scared the strongest beings in his own universe. Besides, we all know that Goku is basically the Superman of Anime, but nowhere near as powerful, because Goku has many limits, as to where Superman is always about not only going beyond them, but never reaching peak power...because he doesn't have to. No matter how many times Goku changes his hair color, goes through training, he will never be able to defeat the Man of Steel. Before I leave you with this to digest, let's look at some other factors - Goku didn't defeat Raditz, that was Piccolo (using Special Beam Canon), Goku didn't defeat Vegeta on his own during the Saiyan Saga, his friends had to interfere for Goku to get the win, Goku quit against Cell, because at the moment in time Gohan was stronger than Goku, (Gohan was actually intended to be stronger than Goku, act as his replacement, but he never got to the level of popularity as Goku, so that didn't happen), even when Goku fought Frieza initially, if his friends didn't help, he would have lost to Frieza then, way before going Super Saiyan. Even Whis stated in Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta would be stronger than Goku, if he simply stopped being so angry and learned to focus more. Basically, Vegeta was holding himself back based on his mindset. Most of the time, the anime character that everyone worships didn't win 90% of his fights on his own. Superman doesn't match reality, defies physics in his sleep. Most humans know nothing about Superman, because their info is limited to the movies they watch. For those of us who actually read Superman comics, we know how hacked Superman is. Bare in mind, many of the individuals who debate this, don't actually know about the Superman character, and blatantly choose to ignore how Goku came across his victories. Death Battle covered this three times, but humans who don't truly know the characters, will act like Goku is supposed to win. However, I'm glad there are millions of humans who actually know the outcome of such a confrontation. Superman not holding back will win every time. NOTE: Anyone who says Superman is PERFECT, has never read a superman comic in their life, and those humans don't understand what the word perfect means. Humans usually have something goofy to say, when they don't have anything of worth to say. Superman makes tons of mistakes, because he was raised by humans, the best humans, but humans none the less. He has emotions and feels just as much as any human. Just because Superman can do many things, has many crazy feats, doesn't mean the character is perfect. Ignore any silly human that tries to use the whole "Superman is perfect" in a discussion. TERRANCE OUT

I'm glad I found someone who actually understands. I think Goku and Superman are more likely to be friends but also think Superman would respect Goku enough to spar with him from time to time even though he would be busy most of the time being Clark and Superman. It's funny to imagine Superman leaving Goku during a sparring match while he takes off to save lives on Earth or a civilized planet from destruction in a nearby Galaxy just to return in a matter of minutes if not seconds. Goku would be happy and excited that there is someone who is far stronger than he could ever be, this is where the DBZ fans fail to understand. The fans should be happy for Goku to have such a powerful rival to best his abilities further beyond his imagination, don't you think? I enjoy the action and all but enjoy the character's character even more. I wonder how Goku would react to his fans behavior? I know he would be disappointed in a lot of them. EDIT: You deserve way more thumb ups for your comment, perhaps if you animate your comment you would get more lol, unfortunately people don't read enough and that is why the knowledge from fans are limited.

I get what you mean by the Justin vs Rebecca DB, but I wouldn't call it the worst. Personally wouldn't classify it the same way considering it was a joke battle. Judging it by that criteria, it was hilarious when I was a pre-teen, it's meh to me now. Of all the videos from late 2000s-early 2010s YT that clowned on the two, DB was pretty tame all things considered.
