No one does sarcasam like us Brit's, BUT what we do even better is Irony... The best "tourist's" to use it against are American's.... They take EVERYTHING so seriously.... 😅😅

I hate Marmite (yeasty flavour). I hate mixer taps (I've had them removed and replaced with two taps throughout my house). I hate tea (but it should be made with the milk added last). I can't understand regional accents so just nod and smile when talking to someone from another county or country within the United Kingdom. I'm English so hate the fact that my Passport declares me to be "British". I still use Imperial measurements for baking, buying petrol, getting weighed or measured for clothing, distance, etc. (I have no idea about litres, kilos, centimetres, kilometres, et al). I still measure temperature in Fahrenheit. It took me a good 15 years to learn to count money using the decimal system - I was so used to using Pounds Shillings and Pence! (Yes, I'm that old, lol). I love baked beans. I'm having some for my tea (which is our evening meal, commonly known as "dinner" throughout the rest of the world). Our "dinner" is what other countries would count as lunch! (We have breakfast, dinner and tea. Older Brits may have breakfast, elevenses, dinner, high tea, tea and possibly supper. Confused? You should be, lol!)
