Great battle!! Both bands have improved a LOT, I’m glad Doug is getting back in the mix, I haven’t heard them is good since 07. Redan is sounding a lot stronger and them tubas...... Why the dancers get so much camera time? Would’ve liked to see more of the bands. Redan sounds good. Instrumentation is hurting Doug but not a bad performance from them. You could tell they was over blowing to try and match Redan’s volume tho.

The girls at Redan have a lot of energy. The last uniform the FDH girls had on was really cute. It's shocking to see both bands so small, but they were equally entertaining.

Although redan had more volume than doug they sounded cluttered or muffled when playing songs and they only sounded decent playing softly, tag notes or last notes . Doug had some plain boring arrangements in that dance feature and that jumping mix thingy . They still both did good and still were entertaining I'd give doug the edge with originality they used nobody's arrangements but their own.
