I am living with my family, and I am 22, and I didn't have any kind of too difficult situations in my life to push me to improve myself which has made me a depressed person, given me nihilistic personality and I never knew the reason of why I feel like that way as I had all things I needed in life. After I started lifting (which at first I started to attract women) I understood what I want from life which is as you said is FOR THE DIFFICULT, my mom never let me to face any difficulties and at the end I understand that the only way is to solve that problem is to change my environment. Now I am planning to go to Germany to do my master degree where I will have to find a job to pay living costs, study hard and lift hard. I hope that process will help me to transform myself to a strong men. Thank you for the video

Honestly relatable till the moving part (for me). My mom was always so "wrongly kind" to me that she did everything I asked for, I never had to barely anything by myself as a child, and I think that that really neglected my ability to perform at my best in life, in all parts of it. I'm 20 now, been lifting on and off for 4 years now (because of constant injuries and one jaw surgery that led me to lose about 20kgs), but now I'm finally getting my life on it's legs and moving forward in an amazing direction. My discipline has risen, had my first romantic moment this weekend (yes its pathetic), about to start going through Police recruitment and hopefully get a job that way. Lifting flipped my life around, and I'm forever grateful for going this direction.

I think that the beauty of Kyriakos is that he broke that barrier where aesthetics were the only goal. He narrowed down even more the focus to simply lift more, adapt to your life and still go at it like nobody cares. Difficult is a state of mind where you do the things you must, not the things you like. You develop a mentality where the challenge is the habit. I hate going to the gym, I would love the results with no effort. Obv that is not going to happen so I ALWAYS GO, no ifs and no buts.

@BaldOmniMan2 жыл бұрын
I think his development from a rage filled, senseless monster (who admittedly trained so hard,he destroyed his leg), to a man building himself back up, to a superstar is quite inspiring. People talk about Bugez Cruise Saga Rick without truly appreciating that his was only so intense back in the day because because he was infuriated with life and frustrated.
@mate91882 жыл бұрын
The Berserking Garage Monster Saga was what got me into lifting, getting to love it, and find this community. Lot of people didn't quite get him, and even i, when in the beginner phase years ago, looked at him just as a strong guy, tried copying his things etc. But once i finally understood the things he preached, and him as a whole, is when i realised how much value that one man gave me. I went from okay, i guess i lift so i can look good, session skipping Sammy Sausage head to loving the process, Living it. I personally thank him a lot . Seeing his progression throughout the years, now becoming a wrestling star is so lovely. Have to love him !

That's the beauty of the Greek language "for the difficult" can mean both "for doing something difficult" or it can have a double meaning "for tough times" it's a common expression we say for example "i'm gonna put some money on the side for the difficult" meaning I'll save up for tough times. So Kyriakos is both for doing something difficult and preparing for something difficult. He is our Bloat and Savior, he will retake Constantinopole, he will defend Greece and Christendom and protect The West. Full Praise the Bloat!

True that Lifting will make u look at everything through a lens of lifting , i swear programming made me realize A LOT of things out side of lifting . i know look at life and most things in it like a lifting program and IT MAKE SENSE ! ... when u try to find the balance in ur life or make sense out of something , it's all comes down to (Volume , frequency , intensity , exercise selection , etc) just like programming is .. how u set things up .. how u manage fatigue and recovery .. life is just an expansion of lifting programming , u transcend from making lifting programs to making life programs .. (and ye i am not an advanced lifter or have a good body or strength even YET , still on my 2nd year with my diet no being on point , and i am not rich or made it in life or whatever , so i am not talking from a high place or anything quiet the opposite actually...) but i am start to understand things bit by bit and it just a matter of time and going through the journey .

Lifters are special but what about hard manual labour workers
@mastertrey46832 жыл бұрын
Lifters arent really special humans hes just saying it like that to make us feel better about what we’re doing. Manual labor is in the same boat, if you are doing manual labor for money thats kinda like lifting for results. A lot of people do manual labor because they have to to survive while it is definitely not easier than lifting, it isnt like there is any other option. Some people do manual labor because they would pretty much feel empty without doing it. Some people prefer to be chopping logs and carrying stuff around because it fills a purpose for them. And if you think about it training is pretty much an emulation of manual labor. They are pretty similar. So its like you live to work instead of working to live. The person who lives to work is usually going to go above and beyond compared to someone who just works to live. Whether or not one or the other will be more happy isnt that simple. But someone who MASTERS somethjng whether that be a craft or anything like that, doesnt just do that thing for money. They do it because it IS the purpose. Think about the greatest fighters of all time, their entire lives are fighting, training, they don’t just “train to be a better fighter” they get so caught up in the process that its all they do and they do it with proficiency and that is why they are great. Thats essentially the point of the video.

Wouldnt you be depressed, and traumatised if suddenly everything you loved and needed just went to sh1t. Imagine if you your parents are alcohlics you have no friends and homeless, of course yes then you just need to make life more difficult to feel better. I find the things you say rather brilliant but i disagree with that statement.

I am still watching your video NH so I'm not sure if you covered this, but in Greek "για τα δύσκολα" or "for the difficult" means he is training to be strong for the difficult situations in life. It makes sense that a Greek man would understand the value of difficulty for difficulty's sake. The ancient Greeks had a firm understanding of the connection between the mind and body, and the value of sports and athletic challenges. I believe Plato himself, as well as being the brilliant philosopher, was also an avid wrestler in his youth (I think his name meant strong shoulders or something). There are many other examples of Greek philosophers expressing the importance of a strong body to help strengthen the mind, so I think it is deeply engrained in their culture.
