I was introduced to Dr. Reeder through Ligonier Ministries a couple of years ago. I immediately recognized his accent being from NC myself. In the years since, I can attest to the power of Dr. Reeder’s preaching and his dedication to speaking the truth in love, as God has used his faithfulness to the Word to sanctify me. While I selfishly regret there will be no more of his exegesis to shepherd me, I rejoice that he is enjoying sweet fellowship and reward with our Savior! Thank you for this excellent documentary to explain how God developed one of His choice servants.

Thank you for sharing your father’s story with us. Pastor Reeder and Harold Jones were both integral in my spiritual growth when I lived in Charlotte and attended Christ Covenant in the 90s. They are both very much loved and missed.

Awe inspiring. All those key players in the story crossed my path at one time or another at Christ Covenant and I was so focused on the moment, the single random thread that passed across my path, I never stopped to realize there was a beautiful tapestry being woven on the other side, that had I just turned it over and pondered it for a while, it was really something beautiful to behold. I roomed with Harry on a trip to Israel, helped Laura Elliot with a computer problem as she was in the midst of writing a book, visited with Miriam Jones I can't even recall what for, and of course, interacted just briefly with Jennifer Reeder at Reeder home for one of their "tube-steak" dinners for new members. Had I made the effort to know what was happening to each of them in God's glorious plan, I would've taken more time to "smell the flowers", as they say. Well-done documentary.
