Living under difficult socio-economic circumstances can be a hindrance for many future sports stars.
The lack of adequate facilities can also prove to be a deterrent to those with dreams of becoming professional athletes, one day.
But this story shows that anything is possible and that challenges may be overcome - if only you have a dream and a passion to succeed.
Our story tracks down a group of budding gymnasts from Stellenbosch, who have already competed in a number of top competitions in the country.
These gymnasts don’t have access to a gymnasium, making their journey to success that much harder.
Theirs is a story of overcoming adversity against all odds.
