Really good question, is on my list to cover in future in more detail! IMO it all depends on what you consider the priority and who you intend to meet. The first year I went was standard entry and I met 3 celebs between 09:30-12:00ish, but I spent a lot of time in the trader hall and doing the free photo ops. I think If you are not meeting the high level guests in terms of fame and happy to queue alot, 5-10 wouldn't be impossible! But shawnee smith? I would be in for open, find her table and wait, guests arrive about 09:30 so there's time before to find her table. I think she will be on my list for ASAP on the day, everyone is popular of course but shawnee, bill moseley and lin shaye by my reckoning, will be very busy! Random question. Is there normally a big queue for the tattoo artist onsite? I have a Donnie Darko tattoo that I want James duvall to sign and then get that tattooed

Really good question. When there is a tattooist, they tend to be very popular, in previous years they have operated a "walk up" policy so I suppose it's one of those scenarios of queuing up after you get the signature and hope it's not too long, but if thats your only objective time doesn't matter. There's plenty to occupy attention while queuing and everyone is talkative! Timing is everything, if you get in for 9am, get your signature when the guests arrive at 9:30 and head straight to the tattooist, you might find yourself certainly closer to the front of the queue, give it a couple of hours and I could say the queue will be long! Alternatively, i spoke with my tattooist and he did recommend that if you want to get it done after the con with your own guy/gal, get the person to sign a blank piece of paper and then it's easier to transpose into a clearer tattoo- not as glamorous I know but if time is against you at the con, it's not a bad back up.... and you get the signature twice 🤣

Hi can anyone confirm, with a general pass can I still see the stalls or do I need to get diamond pass for trade zone ? Not sure if this is where the stores are ? Ie can I purchase and see all stores with general tickets ? Thank you

Hello, no problem at all. General admission gives you access to everything, including the guest q and a panels. The traders are in a dedicated area that is not a separately ticketed area. Diamond pass essentially allows priority entry (all of about 5 minutes tbf lol) and a priority lane to photos and autographs. This is a great event if you want all the fun of seeing everything without having to pay extra for the privilege.

Yes you can come and go as you please, before coming in they will put a wrist strap on you. This confirms your QR code has been scanned.

No problem at all. Other than the events food area outside, there's nothing around for miles (it's in an industrial estate!), but I find it good to step outside and get a breather, it can get very warm and very full inside!

There is parking on site but limited. I think details/links will go out this week. In the past it was £10 for the day If you want to park at the event, follow all the info from for the love of horrors socials only. There have been cases in the past of bogus parking spot near the event being sold only to be on private property. If you are staying near in a hotel, perhaps consider an Uber there and back, there's plenty around and the price is comparable
