For The Safety Of Our Lions PLEASE OBEY THE RULES!

Visitors to Kruger National Park Please take note:
• If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them.
• The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to.
PLEASE NOTE THE GATE TIMES as stipulated on your Permit - If you are late you WILL be fined!
This video is a good example to show what tourist should NOT DO at a sighting and we hope through this we can educate tourist on some of the rules of Kruger National Park.
RESPECT THE WILDLIFE AND OTHER TOURIST - PLEASE!
We hate to Name and Shame you but we all need to show some respect!
ALSO REMEMBER to switch OFF your engine at a sighting!
The sound of nature is much more beautiful than the sound of you car engine and nobody, the wildlife included, do NOT appreciate your NOISE and AIR pollution!

Footnote: Had the tourists stuck to the rules in our video on the official that nearly ran over the lions: • SHAMEFUL - Watch A Par... that incident would not have happened because the official then could have passed the Lions without disturbing them to carry on with his job he was appointed to do and not being held up by tourist not obeying the rules!!!! We do NOT condone his actions, but that unnecessary incident could have been avoided if EVERYBODY was sticking to rules. Its as simple as that!
Please note: This video was filmed just before the Cubs attacked the Puff-adder snake and when there was still 6 cubs in the Pride.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions
