I used to fast a lot. It’s the best times of my life. I have been working 3 jobs , 1 really heavy construction. Also Mentally heavy bc family forsook me. I’ve been praying for Gpd to help me fast. He answered : Last month I suddenly realized I was 3 days into a fast and I had hardly realized it! 😭🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️now I am praying again to start again even tho I have so much heavy work all thru Christmas. I KNOW HE WILL ANSWER and give me the loving special tmes with Him. I love Him so much.

In 2001 I did a juice fast for 21 days, didn't eat any food and it changed my life. It's worth it.

What kind of liquids can we eat? Wanting to do some type of new year fast but want to be clear on what is allowed before I jump in. I’ve only been on a 7 day fast (water only) and it was rough but shortly after the fast we got given a truck that we were paying off and had around 12,000$ left of payments so it was a blessing and I drew a lot closer to God in that time.

Water, coffee, tea, bone broth, water+electrolytes is so important and better than water alone. “Liquids” like smoothies or protein shakes are kinda frowned upon or to be rare, if at all.

We don’t eat liquids. But stick with water mostly. I drank coconut water from the real coconut. It’s good for the electrolytes. But be patient. Read 9 chapters a day starting with Matthew. Sometimes you’ll feel tempt to eat something but don’t. I also do communion the body and blood of Christ for the spirit. There’s different types of fasting in the Bible but mostly ask God to give you strength to fast.

Please no one holler at me for asking this…..😅😉. Is there any type of juice allowed on this fast. I heard Pastor say water, tea, coffee. I understand that but wanted to ask. I thought last year it was mentioned at one point that juice was allowed but I can’t remember. Thanks for giving me Grace in your answers. ☺️😘😊

A juice is good too. It helps circulate elimination. I read that the feces rots inside and turns to poison. I don’t do tea nor coffee. I feel it’s not good. I drink only water and sometimes a dry fast. The juice I use is coconut. It has electrolytes which we need. Stick with the water all the way. Sometimes I’ll drink a juice to get me to the bathroom…some things they just don’t educate us about.

I don’t recommend coffee. Water is best. If not blend fresh fruits. 0 chemicals or outside substance for a fast is best

Let God lead you. At first I thought it was going to be a 40 day fast for me. As I started my fast I learn several churches including mine are on a 21 day fast. That was my answer. As for how long you should do yours listen to your heart. It’s the heart God wants. I like water fast I don’t believe eating at all is a fast maybe between those hours or for each day I honestly cannot tell. The scripture has all kinds of fast. I would educate myself on that cause no one can tell you about how or when to fast. Just start one day at a time.
