A lot of atheists at my workplace (im a professor at a university) say I offend them when I wear a cross or say bless you when they sneeze. Well I find it offensive that I cant express my religion just because of a few dick headed colleges. And when I taught high school I seen a girl be suspended for saying bless you to her teacher and a few other students be suspended for anything to do with religion. Which I find ridiculous since this is supposed to be a "free country"

As someone who hasn't English as his first language... I was taught that you say "bless you" because of politeness? Like we say "greet god" as a welcoming but with no intention to force someone into christianity. Is it very religious to say that? I'm just curious. I think I should call myself lucky that I don't know any extreme christian or atheist :D

I'm guessing because of where I live that it's the total opposite situation. I myself, an atheist, am treated differently & bad mouthed in my hometown for not being a believer. I don't see why it matters honestly. I am no morally corrupt than the next person. I know right from wrong & have never told anyone they can't believe in what they want. So I don't see why people claim that christians are the only ones persecuted for believing, when I myself & others are persecuted because we don't believe. It's a two way street here people. And before someone asks why I'm even commenting, I do enjoy Christian metal & I was listening to Demon Hunter & this song popped up in suggestions. & it's good. For Today is a good band. I'm an avid supporter of good music. I only comment my 2 cent because the message behind the video got me thinking.

***** i understand where your coming from, i am a christian but i am treated badly for dressing in black and all that jazz.... but its really just all the conservitive believers that do it to make them feel like they are higher on some make believe rapture hierarchy. they feel better about themselves for putting you down because in their eyes that makes them a better christian or a better human. in my opinion it doesnt matter what you believe at all as long as you dont push anything on me your good in my book.

***** In al honesty I am a Christian and I have learned many people .... I dont want to say they mis represent God's word but if you actually read the scripture Christians are told to be kind and loving to everyone, no where in the Bible does it say we as humans have the ability to pass judgement so I feel for those with these issues. You raise the argument of being morally corrupt but morals are rooted in religion. People are so quick to point out how religious extremist do this and that but in reality they are not doing what the majority of Christians and also the Bible above all suggests.If Christians are to to love each other and understand God knows and understand things beyond our comprehension and this "moral" standard we have was not a societal norm then hey there is alot more to this, I think you should do some independent research and avoid the KZbin hatespeach
