But his act's in past and in the now. Proof he is the furthest thing from a Cristian. Not that I like Harris. I would wish there was a good alternative that could win for once. I think we as a society need to focus less on nationwide politics and more on local politics and improving our communities through our own direct actions. Yes vote in the presidential election. But also volenteer in your local parish and maybe in secular charities as well. Though official on the books charities often have a lot of rules and red tape about them. If you're on the right I think it would be in your interest to look into what the far left calls "mutual aid" "building duel power structures". They're the idea of the community coming together and organizing to take care of it's own needs instead of relying on big government and big business. They do things like cook meals in the park for the homeless, make community fridges and pantries which give away free food and free stores which give away second hand goods.

Well, how do you feel about Kennedy’s truce plan? He’s calling on peolife people and moderate pro choice people (against late term abortion and MEAN “safe & rare” when they say “SAFE, legal and RARE”) to call a truce for at least ten years to unite on deincentivizing women from having abortions. He doesn’t want to outlaw it, BUT does want it to become as rare as possible, and is opposed to biomedical ghouls who want their poor little bodies for diabolical experiments. His plan could eliminate 53% of abortion in a few months! That’s why if he runs for president in 2028, we should seriously consider supporting him.
@jameslovell2626Ай бұрын
Even if that candidate throws out the whole Gospel? Christ taught us how to interact with people around us, the poor and underprivileged, the ones who seek mercy and compassion. This doesn’t mean to those we believe deserve it, but to everyone. Including groups one “pro-life” candidate believes don’t deserve it. As has been made very clear, especially in the most recent rally. The one who stands up for the majority of the country is the right one, not the one who stands up for only one group. The fact that so many “Christians” support hatred and bigotry while the other candidate is trying to build up the whole country, is disheartening, to say the least.

I am not a Harris supporter, (anyone who would dare call abortion “women’s healthcare” has no right being president). But I did the research on this matter because I was eager to use it in a debate and I found that while there was a mobile abortion facility in the area it wasn’t exactly as close as some sources were making it out to be, with this in mind there is still plenty of other actions by Harris that still prove this argument quite well. Just recently for example, Harris had Mrs. Obama speaking at a rally where she quite literally declared that women shouldn’t care if their husbands or boyfriends get upset about having an abortion, which just shows how depraved and selfish these people really are.

While I understand that most wars are opportunistic grabs for resources and power, exactly what is the rationale for wars being bad. Joshua's conquest of Canaan was at worst tragic, but evil it was not. Just as the death of Judas is portrayed as his just judgement, while still being a tragic instance of someone who had been given everything and still chose evil, so his death was just. No person who, in scriptures, is filled with the Holy Spirit to do an action should ever be interpreted as doing wrong or even a "necessary evil". The right hand of God does no evil. so when othniel or shamgar judged Israel and slayed thousands of its enemies, there is no point in that text that suggests sin was incurred. What is the point we should be looking for to say that one war is bad and another is good.
@eldermillennial8330Ай бұрын

@@eldermillennial8330 Exactly how explicit does it need to be. Do you think that only the heavens opening up and being told by God directly (to the king) is necessary, or can a religious authority (monk, bishop) say that its right (vision or otherwise). Paisius' criteria: 1. Neither candidate is a Christian. Trump plays at it but his fruit is rotten, Harris doesn't even pretend to be. 2. Love of country: that's where I believe Kamala leads a bit. Donald comes across as a man who loves only himself. ... I would probably personally vote for Harris because she is consistent and predictable.
