Hi! I wanted to say, great job. The hardest part of anything is starting. If I could offer some advice: You did a great job with the two nodes, where you made a slight mistake was cutting off node #3's leaves. Because they dont have roots, plants need the leaves to make energy from sunlight. What I do is cut 70%-80% of the leaves off the top node and stick like you did. I think you would have had a few more success with that method. Keep it up.

Not sure if they use the catnip plant or an extract in the cat toys, but maybe check with local pet shops to see if they'd be interested in some.

My lilac tree doesn't have shoots..... Can you propagate from branches?

Yes, in the winter (February) you will take the cuttings and put it into potting soil and let it root over the spring. Keep it under shade and it should be good to go
