Foraging - Marsh Samphire

Foraging is an essential Bushcraft skill. One of the best foraged foods is Marsh Samphire.
Marsh Samphire is one of the few wild foods that are commercially sold. It can be bought all year round in the supermarkets, imported from places like Spain. Our British Samphire is far superior in taste and I look forward to foraging this amazing food every July.
Join me for a walk on the marshes to collect, cook and eat Marsh Samphire.

Find somewhere where you can park closer to the sea! Find the right spot and there will be nothing else growing there.

Knucker It's a nice environment to be in too. When the wind is calm it's a lovely place to be, but boy if its raining or windy its very unforgiving! I thought about doing an overnighter there with a tent but suspect the cow would come investigate and trample the tent!
