I was in southern GPNF on the west side of Indian heaven wilderness yesterday and no shrooms just yet.

Try South facing slope first. 😃 Might just be on the wrong side. 🤔

Look like if soil more soft the pine mushrooms can be more longer stems

Is this too late to come this year?

Still not late. It's only been half of the season up there. 😃

@@mushroomsforagingadventures Thank you for replying! I’m beginner and want to try. I have never gone before. So if you don’t mind may you share the location for me? I can go and try. I’m appreciate it.

@ThuyNguyen-ld1oc I suggest you learn to use a GPS device before going out. This makes it less likely you'll get lost in the woods. Especially you're a beginner. There are lots of places to forage in on the 94 and 88 National Forest roads there around Chemult, Oregon. Look for similar forests in my videos and explore them. Especially the big ponderosa tree or forest that looks good to you. The surrounding area is really tough for a beginner to forage in. I would wait for easier areas to start growing. Be safe if you do go. Good luck and Happy foraging. 😃
