The man, the myth, the legend! ALEX!! 😂 Loving this series, Phil! Keep up the great work. I’d love to see more of how you guys make a living doing this added into the series as well. Perhaps a customer of yours who’s bought and cooked your fresh mushroom up there in Canada!? That would be a cool end of the cycle to see the end result of your hard work. Merry Christmas and thank you for the amazing videos!

So much work cleaning them but it’s nice you can do it in front of the wood stove. I just picked some small winter oysters on a walk just at sea level, the mushroom abundance just doesn’t stop this year, found two golden chanterelles in the ferns too. The spots you’re finding are so inspiring!

Yeah, for the fall flush I'd say it's more time cleaning than picking, especially because I'm obsessive about them being as clean as possible before drying. There are still lots of mushrooms out there for sure! What a great year

Does KZbins auto translate not work to Spanish? I'll see what settings I can change around. Thanks

What do you do with ground up mushroom powder you spoke of?
@northernwildharvest8 күн бұрын
It's pretty versatile, but I like using it as a cooked seasoning in stirfries, soups, sauces, and even mixed right into the flour when making bread. It's really easy to use, and you don't have to hydrate it prior to cooking, which is a bonus.
