Just purchased my thermometer and will only go to 32.5 or 32.7 degrees Fahrenheit. Pretty disappointed. Won’t go to 32 degrees

Very disappointed. Googled how to calibrate the CA dfp450w thermometer. Says to press and the on/off button for 8 seconds until the CAL appears. Did so exactly, and NOTHING. No CAL appeared. Only turned on or turned off. I notice my thermometer is .8° higher than should be. Pretty sad for a $40.00 tool. I guess I'll buy a different brand!

Guess I'm contacting customer service. It's reading 5 degrees over, super bummed it can't be calibrated.

They stand by the quality of their product. www.cooper-atkins.com/contact/ The warranty states "LIFETIME WARRANTY: Any AFL instrument that proves to measure temperatures out of the specified accuracy range or be defective in material or workmanship, will be replaced, without charge, upon receipt of the unit prepaid."

I guess his video is a waste of time can't calibrate it yourself but I think I might be able to figure it out but I don't know terrible just going to stick with analogs digitals are a waste of money 50 bucks a pop

So…you can’t calibrate yourself…got it.
