I think a permit is required to build, because there is also codes to adhere and build by, for safety reasons codes created by engineers and people with years of experience. Construction can be a complex thing, you have to build things right. Although I'm not saying or agreeing a permit should be required for everything you want to build on your land , but for sure a family home I think it'd be good to have a professional come out and look at it .

Ask any fireman involved in these kinds of fires, let alone this particular one and the conditions that they were battling and NO amount of water was going to be able to control it.....they were dealing 100 mph winds with a landscape that was bone dry.....if you understand how fires work, which obviously Trump doesn't, there was no way given their normal fire fighting infrastructure they had in place there would have been effective.....they would have needed 26,000 fire trucks and hydrants in order to even start to consider battling this and of course that is physically impossible.......so Common Sense isn't exactly being used here even though this idiot thinks it would be that simple.....as usual, making comments that he is clueless about and not understanding the true nature of this.....what a pathetic person....and then insulting these people rather than listening to them and trying to help their situation.
