This guy has been doing this same speech for years, but nobody listens. I commend his perseverance.
@BanBb1Ай бұрын
Nobody listens because he is not correct. He worries about debt that in reality does not exist. The bond market is nothing more than a savings account. We use a fiat currency system since 1971. His statements do not exist in that system. In fact they would be closer to the truth when we were in the Gold Standard. The two systems are quite different, with the fact that our government is the issuer of our currency and there is nothing for sale that they could not afford without borrowing a cent. If we tried that under the gold standard where spending was limited to gold supply, we would have to either mine more gold or borrow enough money to purchase enough gold to balance with outstanding cash. Under Fiat this is no longer necessary. The basis of his argument is that he compares governmnet finance to our personal finances. It compelling because we think that there is no difference when in fact many of the rules of fiat are actually antithetical primarily because we do not have the ability to create money and the government does. Schweikert asks when are we going to tell the truth. I have the same question to him.

Question: Why have I never seen a picture of Donald Trump with David Schweikert?
@hakimroberts6489Ай бұрын
what does the don not having a picture with him have to do with anything ? people don't have to photograph themselves to prove they know each other. do you really feel so entitled to anyone's personal life that they have to show you who they know and like with pictures for your knowledge or approval ?
@RandyBryan-q9sАй бұрын
@hakimroberts6489 I'm a big fan of both Donald Trump and David Schweikert. Nonetheless, the fact still remains that before Donald Trump became the president the national debt was at 19 trillion dollars. When Donald Trump left the office of the president, the national debt was over 28 trillion. That is an increase of over 9 trillion dollars in just a 4 year period. With that in mind, I still wonder why I've never seen any photos of Donald Trump with David Schweikert?
@hakimroberts6489Ай бұрын
@@RandyBryan-q9s that's a valid point. but i dont really think we can believe that Donald Trump didn't know anything of him or his positions on government finances and spending. On the other hand are you saying that Donald Trump colluded with the financial departments or schweikert to suppress his administrations government spending. and in turn rail against government spending when it sounds right leaning. do you think most of schweikert's positions are right leaning or bi-partisan? i like to think the latter.
