As a former Kentucky resident, and an independent voter, the population vote was over 5-million votes, not a huge percentage of victory, but the electoral number was over 27% that is huge margin. beshear is the reason i had to give up my dream of graduating from UK . he couldn't simply lift restrictions off of covid when Tennessee just south of Kentucky was thriving. i had to move to my old state of tennessee cause of him. best decision ever. and i was using the 9/11 gi bill at UK. put that in perspective. i would never move back. no one wants to move to Kentucky because of people like him and the government that is in place. Okay full disclosure we ended up stationed in Little Rock AR(from FL) - AR has natural beauty- mtns lakes farms-we ended up in Cabot - well their schools are like college campuses. I am amazed by true arkansas-so many know to hunt - how skin, how to cook but then you find out they are teachers students nurses beauty queens etc. I love the ingenuity of the people of this state!

I am disappointed in Beshear. He ran on not being a partisan hack, but this past year he sure has been acting like one. I still don't like that he continues to tout that battery plant in Glendale, which is tearing up a relatively quiet area, and that he didn't push for those jobs to be union.

Look what that battery plant has done to Elizabethtown look at all the mess. They’re building around here. All the people that they’re bringing in that are temporary workers. You don’t know who they are. You don’t know where they’re from. You don’t know what they’re here for not good.

I’m a Kentuckian and our state was not run well during the Covid pandemic. It was months and months before I got my unemployment and I never got the rest. The government had released it to Kentucky and Mitch McConell even asked on the floor where the money was. Many people had to drive 4 hours to Frankfurt to talk to someone about the money owed. TRUTH
