It’s called disinflation. This is a lowering of the rate of inflation. What you’re probably thinking of is deflation which is arguably far worse than runaway inflation

This kind of focus is becoming an outdated paradigm. Band aids are not fixing anything Long term scanning can't fix what is broken with no healing systems in place. As the cracks enlarge people's desire to survive and grow will lead them to find new ways in a caring financial system. This will be shocking for many, particularly for those not looking now.

Powells tough, hes thinking about the economy litte late but better than never. Hes mot going to let special interest tell him how to do his job then the consequences of these clueless people fall on him. Every time he raised interest rates to get infoation down congress went on a spending spree on cue everytime umdoing his efforts then want to criticize him for not lowering interest rates which will bring back the inflation.
