My wife worked at Walmart, and since they had a scholarship program for children of employees I researched it to see how much my daughter might get for college. It literally listed scholarships for every race, Pacific Islanders, Native Americans, African Americans, Latino etc, EXCEPT for white. They could have easily save time and money and just wrote "everyone BUT White people"

Just being "qualified" doesn't mean you're the best person for the job. In my city, the fire department went from scoring the written and physical tests, to a "pass/fail" system. Not enough women and minorities were getting good enough scores on the tests. So, now you can get the very minimum score possible (with a little inside push) and still get hired because you "passed" the tests. That of course means all of the people who scored at the top might not get hired because they are White males. This is, by law, illegal. Yet it is an open policy all across our country.

In sales for example, there may be an associated performance bonus whereas Quota is requirement, a minimum performance standard such as, if you want to be paid and/or keep your job, you must obtain a certain volume of sales or profitability. They are not synonyms. Words matter.

From Ms. Greene's presentation, it appears to me that major company's are making a strong case to continue this practice out in the open and our government is doing nothing to stop it ! I was brought up to believe that "two wrongs don't make a right" and I believe many others were told this same thing. I'm now guessing a new phrase stating "two wrongs make things even" will replace the old one. It seems as our country is attempting to make enemies of each other rather than doing such things that maybe could bring us more together. Leave it to Joe Biden's Democrats to wreck our system even more than before. The real sad part is that most Americans don't see or hear of this until the damage has occured.
