Why is the "approach that we are taking, expanding lawful pathways" a good idea if the immigration courts are backlogged 7 years? When a kitchen gets in the weeds like that, overwhelmed by the number of orders, you stop new tickets from coming in until you've cleared the backlog and can resume service in a controlled way. Why would you INCREASE the number of people coming into the overburdened system? It's insanity.
