The *ONLY* thing I would _Kinda_ accept as a reason to distinguish between secular and religious activities, is that some Secular Activities are not "elective", as in you need to get food... you go to the grocery store. In the same manner "Needing"... going to church is no where near as "required" as getting food is. But from what I understand it wasn't *JUST* to get food and other *_ACTUAL_* "Essentials". Like even gyms were allowed to operate at 50% then Churches should too. But in some crazy *RARE* circumstance if the law was "You cannot go out except to get "What you *_Actually_* need to stay Living"... then I could understand saying no churches. It’s exhausting to see judges make every excuse in the book for not looking at the Constitutionality of an issue or mandate. They seem to feel their judgement is honorable when they don’t follow the Constitution. Josh Hawley is smart and articulate well versed in the law.

Reminds me of the first distancing rule being 2m (6') but if you worked in an environment where this was impossible then 1m was required. It just came across as a rule for the sake of looking like something was being done rather than something actually useful. Oh, and in our first lockdown, supermarkets could be open but the local butcher and fruit/vege shop were not allowed to open.
