I find this to be awful for those like myself that are disabled we Dont want to keep being reminded that we are disabled to have someone have to keep reviewing my disability is a joke to me and to all disabled in the country

If you're legitimate the review is streamlined. I found no inconvenience with processing it on my end. My doctors were OK with verification.

The people he is talking about are obese have never held jobs and never should have been placed on disability in the first place. As some one who dragged a bum leg through a 30 year construction career before ever even thinking of disability and spent 5 years getting it no one had better EVER call me up to bug me over this ever again. the process is dehumanizing you are treated as a criminal WORSE criminals are assumed innocent and we are assumed to be defrauding ss until we prove otherwise all to get a benefit that was originally intended for manual laborers like my self at FIFTY FIVE when our bodies actually give out NOT sixty seven when your average female office worker decides she wants to garden rather than gossip in the brake room at work.

when it takes over two years to get approved, I think it would be unfair to chase people down after five years. If Mr. Harris wants to chase down people on disability to cut (no actually eliminate) benefits, then we need to make it easier for people to get these benefits.

They re-evaluted me every 5 yrs & they were very efficient in reviewing. I support this be done. When did they stop doing it? My disability is visible & permanent.

I have paid a fortune into SS and I’m 56 , knees are bad and I work 6 days a week . I am totally okay with making sure disability is cleaned up but once I’m done working I want my damn money . SSI should be increased dramatically for our seniors and stop being blamed for the “financial problems “the politicians pretend to fight over while blaming “entitlement “s as the cause and cause fear and anguish for poor seniors it’s despicable. You take the money and you need to give it back and take care of our seniors , veterans and so one . America is a country of hope and from a kid they told me work hard retire and we got your back . That’s not been the case for a long time . America first . Stop giving out billions to illegal aliens and foreign aid and take care of our seniors . Fund SS the way you should and stop blaming seniors for the problems our greedy politicians create every year with their BS.

I've been on social security since 2011. Fermental illnesses that affected my physical health too. And then I tried taking some pills for my mental illnesses and I couldn't sleep but it made me worse so now I have been suffering a respiratory illness for like 4 and a half years. Living in a vehicle because I don't have enough money to get a place to live and my back is hurting and I can't walk a lot still but I'm getting a little bit better. It's really scary not to have my social security income that's all I want to say because if I don't have my money I swear I will die and there's no way possible I can take care of myself without my income. The social security that I get SSI and SSDI how saved my life. I live in California. I don't even know where to live after my respiratory illness dies down enough to where I can move to where I want to live I'm stuck in Northern California. I wish I can do more than what I've been doing but it's like not possible and even though I have a good attitude most of the time in public I'm tired as hell. I'm kind of scared because I've been through so much in 11 years since I've been on social security and even before I was on social security I don't even know what to do with myself anymore. I don't even know like what I am in life I just collect a check and people think I'm a freeloader probably. I always think that if I didn't have an income I would be laying on the ground halfway dying asking people to help me cuz I can't walk and I probably would be panicking and my heart would be racing or something and I would get really sick. Social security is so important 4 people like me.

The Social Security Administration tried to send my brother to work ten years ago. This was hilarious to us. He has severe full-blown palsy from birth, he can't walk or speak in paragraphs, and he can't spell or math. I understand that some people are cheating the system but every time the SSID rolls out on the people that really do need it - it's a bother. Personally, if they end the Social Security Administration I'll be watching my brother go to a barely funded care center after all the time and labor I put into giving him the best life ----this would be motivational, I think over one hundred million Americans that rely on government programs and their family and friends will be motivated.

First of all recepients could be disabled without the definitions of mental illness. These labels true or untrue add to the disabled persons. A review of disability should include the review of the Doctors first. Doctors whether true or untrue make huge proffits and often any organization supporting the Doctors also make that and or proffit the same, more, and or the way to proffit could be different. Labels often add more suffering onto the patient. And that could be detrimental to the disabled person from who treats that person as a patient, to how that person is treated from the Doctors and or others such as emergency and or police. When a person is disabled and not mental the person could become mistreated.

I would never begrudge a disabled person assistance. However, IMO there are amble amount of people receiving SSI and or SSID who either work off the books and collects benefits or who have an ample income from their spouse/ partner in so without benefits would far from starve. I believe that is where the system fails, taking away the funds from those who truly need a decent assistance amount to be able to keep a roof over their heads and food on their table.

Nothing is life long..but a disability is a life time injury. Partime and recovering can be seen. A life time disability is also seen. That is 2 categories.

What someone else calls love, I might call harm if it keeps people trapped. We can't even define a woman anymore. Let's correct that so we all mean pretty much the same thing when we use words.

So every uear....( are you still disabled) Is a intrusive behavior that is not required. The disability is not going to change. Your medical information will tell you about conditions and if they improve. The medical system can enter this information. A separate audit is not required. A ....if you are living...is seen in the use of the disability...payment That is under poverty at this. Point. Do to state not providing.. adjustment. For living. So we only see Federal.

That isn't true because I have health care I have Medicare because I have social security and I can't even use it because of my illness is so severe I can't get myself into the clinic physically I can only call them. Being disabled or having some kind of disability can be really scary. I don't know why there's a lot of people out there that always look at people that have disabilities like they're just free loading I hate that.
