After he left Forbidden, Tim Calvert also played for a bit with Nevermore and recorded one of the most brilliant metal records ever (Dreaming Neon Black - 1999). As a guy from SF, I loved the classic Bay Area thrash bands like Forbidden, but Nevermore was unreal with Calvert and Jeff Loomis were as bad ass a guitar tandem as it gets.

Forbidden were always up their with metallica slayer ect for me. I saw them on the twist into form tour supporting death angel on their act III tour. Great times :)

I'll bet you do Bro, thats a GOOD thing in my book :) What I really loved about D.L. was the way he would reverse the snare and bass on the down beat and produce a completely different feel to the rhythym they were playing, a lot like the shit John Bonham used to do...I think thats innovative...do you like Peter Criss, the KISS drummer, his solo was the standard in the late 70's lol

They're doing some shows and festivals in Europe, I call that a tour. But wishful thinking also tells me that more will come from the return of Forbidden... If Bostaph's Testament status allows, (I think Nick Barker is still considered a member, he just has visa probs).
